Many times, finding the RIGHT part for your vehicle is a challenge. Aside from matching your vehicles year, make and model, there are many variables at play like VIN number, engine size, transmission type and more. The more information you know about your vehicle the better. Our parts staff are professionals and can help you find the right part for your car. Many of our cars in our yard have identical parts across many years and models, especially BMW & Ford trucks. Our techs are here to answer any of your questions, but to save some time, we’ve included a few questions that are asked often.
Telford Auto Parts offers a no-hassle return policy on most parts for up to 30 days, however, a restocking fee of 20% may be applied to any returned parts. Any special order parts such as cuts and clips are not returnable. Also, parts that are damaged or tampered with by the customer are also not returnable. For defective parts, please see your warranty that is clearly stated on the front of your invoice for your warranty period. No refunds on electrical parts or incorrectly ordered parts.
The warranty covers the engine block, cylinder head, and all internal parts only! The length of your warranty and coverage you choose will be clearly stated on the front of your invoice. “Parts only” warranties cover replacement of the part only and NO labor will be covered. See our TERMS & CONDITIONS for more info.
Our used engines are supplied completed from the oil pan up to the valve covers, with timing cover(s) belts, timing chains, crank pully, tensioners, exhaust and intake manifolds.
Exceptions are noted in our description field.
Starter, alternator, throttle body, turbo/super chargers, a/c compressors, power steering pump, and other external accessories are NOT included unless specifically stated.
Please note that any and all accessories left on the engine are not warranted or guaranteed to fit.
You will need the title for the vehicle, because we need to make sure it’s owned by you. It helps if you have your registration and license as well.
You can, but you will need your registration and drivers license in order to apply for a salvage title.
We keep our prices as fair as possible. The value of a vehicle may be higher if it is still drive-able, but condition does have a factor. We pay well for good tires, low mileage engines and transmissions, newer cars, and newer parts.
Please note that any and all accessories left on the engine are not warranted or guaranteed to fit.
You can request a quote online and we will call you or email you back immediately with a quote.
FAQs
The Vehicle Identification Number, or VIN, contains a code that identifies where and when your vehicle was built, what engine and body style it has, along with other important information that may be necessary to ensure that you get the correct part(s). This is especially true with regards towards engines, transmissions, ECU computers, and many other vital components.
The VIN can be found on the vehicle's title, and numerous other places on the vehicle such as under the drivers side windshield. See your manual for it's location. To locate the date of manufacture, see the tag on the driver's door jam.
In some cases we will need the VIN to verify some of the vehicle's information. Sometimes it will be necessary to call the dealership with the VIN of your vehicle to find out the correct part that your vehicle requires. Dealerships are sometimes the only sources for this detail informaton of your specific VIN.
The left is the driver's side. Whereas, the right is the passenger side.
Unlike U-pull-it or self-serve yards, our mechanics pull the part for you, test it and have the part ready for you when you arrive! No need to bring your own tools and worry about busted knuckles.
We accept all major credit cards, cash and checks.
If you find the part your need on our Ebay Page, you can purchase online. Otherwise, you can fill out our form on our Used Parts Page, and when we find you part, we can take payment over the phone and you can either stop by to pick up or we can ship you the part directly
A core charge is like a deposit. Some worn-out auto parts can be rebuilt and turned into a useable part once more. The "core charge" helps ensure that we get your old part back in much the same way that you pay a deposit for returnable bottles and cans. The "core charge" helps keep costs down, too. Recycling parts in this way is environmentally friendly conserving the energy and raw materials required to produce a part from scratch.
Our yard location is in Telford, PA - just south of Green Lane in Montgomery Township. We can also ship your part to your location.
If it's automotive, we sell it. We sell all types of mechanical parts, engines, transmissions, suspensions, electrical parts, exterior body panels, roof racks, mirrors, interior parts, dash assemblies, radios, climate control centers, and more. Sometimes even floor mats and cargo covers!
